Club History

Highfield is a small family country club committed to perpetuating the values and purposes envisioned by its founders. The Club maintains a variety of recreational facilities in a magnificent but understated physical environment. It continues to encourage and cherish family activity and expects old-fashioned civility among members at all times. Highfield continues its tradition as essentially a club for its members and, as such serves as a haven from business activity.

Highfield was founded in 1953 by a group of families dedicated to the concept of a family club. A number of the original founders, as well as their children and grandchildren, remain as members. At the same time, Highfield has welcomed from the community those families and individuals who share the same values and objectives of the existing members.

We are truly fortunate at Highfield to have a beautiful setting in a campus of over 600 acres. This has enabled us to offer a variety of recreational pursuits in a very private setting.
